RIS-FLO STREAMLINES PATIENT REGISTRATION
RIS-FLO functions as a patient registration system that centralizes accurate patient demographic and financial information. It also integrates seamlessly with external patient registration and HIS according to IHE (Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise) integration profiles.

RIS-FLO supports patient reconcilation and merges requests from the HIS to correct patient demographics, or merges two different records belonging to the same patient. It can also issue patient reconciliation request events to the PACS.

RIS-FLO FACILITATES ORDER ENTRY
A user-friendly interface lets you quickly enter orders for imaging exams. RIS-FLO can also receive ordering messages from external order entry systems such as the HIS. RIS-FLO forwards updates such as scheduled or cancelled orders, as well as preliminary or final result status to the PACS or HIS as required.

RIS-FLO ENHANCES SCHEDULING
RIS-FLO automatically subdivides each ordered procedure into one or multiple acquisition steps according to preset protocols. Steps can be independent or sequentially dependent with time interval constraints. Each step is scheduled according to resource availability.

RIS-FLO can also perform multi-site scheduling for enhanced multi-site management. When scheduling procedures, RIS-FLO automatically books visits and appointments. It can schedule multiple procedures for one visit, or schedule one procedure over multiple visits.

A user-friendly interface effectively minimizes time spent gathering patient information, entering orders, or scheduling procedures. It also automatically schedules outpatient appointments or visits for the next available slot according to patient preferences.

RIS-FLO tracks visits, cancels appointments, and re-schedules entire procedures or individual steps with unparalleled ease and efficiency.

RIS-FLO PERFECTS MODALITY INTEGRATION
RIS-FLO is a brokerless modality worklist manager which supports many modality worklist query keys. By eliminating data entry duplication, RIS-FLO increases productivity, reduces errors, and ensures consistent data.

RIS-FLO tracks the status of each scheduled, unscheduled, or modified acquisition step, thus providing more accurate billing information and productivity reports. It then forwards this information to the reporting system to initiate the interpretation cycle. RIS-FLO receives DICOM Modality Performed Procedure Step (MPPS) messages from imaging acquisition systems. It also provides a graphical user interface as an MPPS simulator for non-compliant modalities.

RIS-FLO IMPROVES BILLING
RIS-FLO automatically tracks any specific procedure that may require pre-certification under the patients insurance plan.

RIS-FLO provides a pre-visit list to ensure all patient financialnformation is accurate and complete. To further ensure more accurate billing, RIS-FLO only uses information about performed procedures versus scheduled ones.

When integrated with your billing system, RIS-FLO manages and sends all the relevant financial, procedural,and diagnostic information.

INTELLIGENT INFORMATION MANAGEMENT
RIS-FLO scans any document and links it internally with the patient, order, or procedure. Scanned documentsare then made available throughout the system. Scanning documents and storing electronic copies in the patients profile results in a paperless environment and fewer lost documents.
